The items in Piwik's sub menus become bold when you mouse over them. This is terrible, especially with non-English locales. The text jumps around, breaks the layout, and has a buggy feel.
Instead, I suggest simply changing the color of the text, or not doing anything at all (since the color of the cell behind the text already changes to indicate interactivity).
This is pretty much my only gripe with piwik (except the serif fonts), congratulations!

Actually, while I'm at it, might I suggest using a classic dropdown menu (ex: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/final_drop.html ) instead of the "submenu box" we have right now? I have noticed many spacing problems (even without taking into account the bold typeface) that would be solved by using a vertical submenu style like that, and it would be much more intuitive to navigate for most users.
Alright, yes, the new menu proposed in #1048 seems just like I'd like it to be. I'll be looking forward to that, sadly I'm not in a position to help making it happen faster.
