We use OpenX for ad trafficking to various sites. We work for serveral customers with multiple campaigns. Piwik is used to analyse our customers site traffic (landing page). Some of this traffic was generated through user clicks on some of our ads.

It would be a very nice feature for Piwik to have the ability to show data from OpenX like:

  • Number of banners that were viewed and clicked;
  • Which banners were clicked and viewed;
  • OpenX campaign data.

I'm planning to create such a plugin, does this make sense, are there any drawbacks to this?

For sure you can build the plugin, please post here when you have something working :)
