Should we also add a form to configure outgoing mail settings ?

In "General Settings", there's already a configuration section when you click "yes" for "Use SMTP server for e-mail".

This is already kind of possible via the "Email reports" Send now button..

True but it doesn't show the error message. Sometimes the exception thrown is explicit enough to understand how to correctly configure outgoing mail settings.

ok, so maybe we should change the "Send email" button so that it shows the error message, because this is a bug that it doesn't show it IMHO

Closing this as wont fix, but if there is a problem with error messages not being shown in the Email reports screen, let's create a new ticket for this bug?
