Some users just want to view some overall KPI's and don't need/want that much features on a mobile device.

I'd suggest do add a page containing the most important numbers and 2 or 3 graphs. This allows the user to see how the site performs with just one click. What are the most important numbers? What could be interesting (evolution) graphs?

The user should be able to switch between the list of all available reports and the KPI's page. The app remembers which the user prefers.

Are there any suggestions / objections?

Isn't there already a page listing Visits/Pages? Once we add Evolution graph (of visits?) as well, maybe this report will become such basic KPI page?

-> but having one KPI page for everybody is very hard, because we have too many types of users.

Maybe we can instead:

  • make very easy and fast to switch from one report to another (maybe already the case?)
  • maybe the app could remember which reports are used the most (in the last month?) and put them at the top in a new section "Last used reports". I think still important to put all reports in the metadata order after this "Last used reports", to keep consistency..

thoughts?

You're right. Once we have the evolution graph it'll become the basic KPI page.

Remember which reports are used the most and put them at the top in a new section "Last used reports" sounds great. Love it... That's indeed better than just one KPI page as it's "user-defined" (solves the too many types of users issue).

I think this ticket is no longer required since we added #3242 . There will be a page containing the most important reports.
