I've set up a custom variable to track an event on my website - every visitor has this custom variable set to one of two values. .

It looks like the variable is tracking page views and visits correctly

However, in the ecommerce report - the custom variable section is showing no revenue. There has been revenue during this period and it show correctly in the other ecommerce reports.

mclowe, thanks for the report. Can you please post a screenshot of the Visitor log for a given DAY, with custom variables + Ecommerce interactions, then put screenshot of the Ecommerce>Custom Variables report for this same day? just to confirm the bug thanks

Here you go.

The visitor log is just one person, but it shows the custom variable and the ecommerce interaction.

The new e-commerce functionality is awesome. If there is anything else you need, please let me know.

Maybe duplicate of #2564?

Do you track the ecommerce order using the Tracking API php?

I suppose so, and there is a known bug: #2564

If you are NOT using the tracking API (in php for example) BUT you are still seeing this custom variable attribution bug, please post a comment to reopen the ticket
