  3. A click on the browser icon should open a visitors log showing (only!) visitors using respective browser version (disregarding used plugins).
  4. A click on a browser plugin icon should open a visitors log showing (only!) visitors using that plugin (version).
  5. A click on the "Returning Visitor" icon should open a visitors log showing (only!) the log of the respective visitor whose icon was clicked.
  6. To "Visitors Browser":
A click on a browser line should open a visitors log showing (only!) visitors using respective browser version (disregarding used plugins).
  7. To "Global Visitors Configuration":
A click on a configuration line should open a visitors log showing (only!) visitors using respective configuration.

Similarly for other widgets/lists: Click on a map on world map to show log of visitors from that country (disregarding IP provider!), click on a time bar in "Visitors by server time" to show log of visitors at affected time, etc.

I'm not sure that it is a good idea to allow filtering based on clicks on small icons

Instead we could use the nice Segmentation UI see: #2135

I have been asked if it was possible to click on a custom variable value and see the visitor log filtered/segmented with that custom variable value.

As a concrete example, when using custom variables to track user logins, one could click on a login and see all the actions done by that person.

Currently, I manually add the segment parameter to the URL.

Julien the feature you are asking for is to have a segment selector to create and record segments and easily apply them to the current piwik view. This is "in progress" (designer working on mockups) and will be implemented in next few months; #2135
