Needs - I am choosing Piwik over Google Analytics, but see you don't have a WP7 app yet (I see you have them for IOS and Android already, so perhaps just port to WP7). I will have to use GA until you have a mobile app for WP7.

Business justification - This will help for multiple websites for multiple users. And since Google Analytics already has a WP7 app, you will remain equal in product usage availability.

Hi stevesu,

thanks for your request! I do not think that we'll create a WP7 Mobile App in the near feature. But we want to build a Web Application for devices like WP7, Nokia and so on. Unfortunately I can't give you a timeline.

Maybe you know somebody with skills in making WP7 apps who is interested to make the Piwik Mobile App for WP7? He could use Piwik API http://piwik.org/docs/analytics-api/reference/ . We'll help for sure.

I think there's an easy way to build a mobile website for devices like Windows Phone, BlackBerry, ... by just creating a simple menu/list with buttons and link to each widget. For example a link to a widget like this:

http://demo.piwik.org/index.php?module=Widgetize&action=iframe&moduleToWidgetize=MultiSites&actionToWidgetize=standalone&idSite=1&period=week&date=yesterday

See here for a full list of all widgets:
http://demo.piwik.org/index.php?module=Widgetize&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday

We would have to optimize the widgets a bit for mobile devices (font size, scaling,...). Graphs are already working within the mobile browser. Maybe we could also implement a simple theming for this. But I think it is not that difficult to optimize the widgets for mobile devices via CSS and media queries.

Moving this ticket to Piwik Feature Requests since it is more appropriate here. Requires implementation in Piwik Core.

I'll close this ticket. An alpha version will be released soon and all remaining tasks will be tracked in other tickets.
