There are no iframes on my site and the javascript tracking code is in the right place. Although normal direct tracking seems to be working

This is probably an environment issue. The most likely cause is some redirect/rewrite before it hits the page being tracked.

The only re-writes I have are adding www. and removing the page type (e.g .php). Pages referenced on google use .php and those pages are still accessible. Does piwik work on wordpress if permalinks are enabled?

Can't re-open ticket and this hasn't really been answered :S

I have used awstats with all kinds of htaccess rewrites so not sure why this isn't working :S

Confirmed the all google seardch referrals work etc with tracewatch webstats so there can't be a problem with any of the rewrites
