#2677 closed New feature (fixed)

Add a way to "minimize" a widget

Description

From forum request

 Add a way to "minimize/collapse" widgets: it would be nice to be able to free temporarily some desktop space, without having to add/remove widgets all the time, or always having to scroll: aside of the "maximize" icon, a "minimize" would be great!

I agree it would be very useful to have, and consistent with the existing "Maximise" button :)

(In [5261]) fixes #2677 added possibility to minimise a widget (only headline will be displayed);
if a widget is displayed normal, it can now be minimised or maximised; if a widget is minimised it can only be maximised to restore the normal view;
the view status (minimized or normal) is saved within the dashboard layout and will be restored on reload
