Lines 281-303 in GoalsManager.php (especially point 2)) cause Piwik behaving vaguely.

What I mean here is that visit gets recorded under Direct Entry, and Goal under i.e. Search Engine (see attached screenshot as an example of the report)

How to reproduce?

Clear piwik database and execute the following piwik.php requests (captured from test website where we noticed the issue happening) - what's strange we noticed that this was happening in Chrome only as it directs thru Google the request?

Expected behavior (the user has a referrer stored in his cookie, so when direct entry, we use the "last known non empty referrer").

See the faq Why are there sometimes 0 visits, but some conversions recorded, for example for a Keyword, a Website or a Custom Variable?

Note the problem will mostly happen on "day" reports. The data will look better on Week or monthly reports, because most visitors come back and convert within a few days.
