Its very anoing click so few times for changing the month, day or week. this can be faster with 2 new links for previos and next period
Also a good point here is maybe to redesign the calendar form or let it optionally opened all the time.

For Widescreens I added an example of new design as attachment

I agree the calendar could be improved, but I disagree on the proposed change
