I have noticed that some of my email reports have stopped working. When I run them they go into "loading data" for some time and then crashing. Via trial and error I have isolated this down to the Referrers | Search Engines option. With this ticked the reports fail, without it they work fine.

Please note that this is a bug in 1.7.1 and was not there in 1.6

Do you see any error in the web server error logs?

If you use firebug > NET panel in firefox can you see an error in the HTTP request sent when you click the button?

pancentric, do you see any error in the web server error logs when you select "Search Engine" and then generate the report?

I've actually experienced the same kind of issue.

I had to untick the custom variable report so the report could be generated again. It happened both with PDF & HTML reports.

I have no execution time limit on my machine and I waited for 5 minutes at least.

I then decided to purge all archives and rebuild them from scratch and it now works again.

I can not guarantee this is the definite answer but definitely worth the try.
