Dear Piwik-Team,
I tried to install Piwik on my webspace today:

```
PHP version: 5.2.4
MySQL Client API version: 5.0.27
Apache: 1.3.39
```

The setup went fine until I had to insert my MySQL credentials. Having inserted them and pressed “Go!”, the following messages appear (see screen shot):
http://img378.imageshack.us/my.php?image=piwikfehlercb3.jpg
I’ll try to attach the screen shot to this ticket. If that works, you won’t need the link. ;-)
What can I try to get Piwik running?
Thanks!
Sebastian

This is because your web host has to grant you CREATE INDEX permission on your mysql database. You can ask your web host to grant you this permission. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We have a ticket #337 to display a friendlier error message in this case.
