In my scenario you can view every different site for the same domain, simply expand the group ... nowadays I can't have a grouped view .. making for me impossible to manage a lot of domains having a large number of URLs referring to the dame domain .. Implementing what I am asking for makes the user free to choose what he prefer, you and me would be both happy :) |

in my tests, the websites specified in the "Alias domains" textareay in the Settings>Websites for each webiste, these URLs are automaticaly hidden from Referrers > Websites - Do they show on your piwik? they should be hidden? |

For a given domain we have a main URL and a list of "equivalents", say example.com (main) and www.example.com, foo.example.com and so on ..
Piwik knows this and should use it everywhere possible and useful.
An explicative case is Referrers -> Websites. My opinion is that we should group referrers by main URL and give the user the possibility to expand the group if he is interested and see the "partials" given by single "alternate URLs".
