It requires the precise geo localization plugin (#45).
We could plot the last N visitors on a google maps with the exact position of the visitors. A click on the dot could show basic information about the visitors.

One problem I see here: The terms of service for Google Maps forbid you from using their maps on any internal (i.e. not accessible to the general population) website.

IMHO it would be better to utilize the OpenStreetmap project for this purpose. Using Yahoo Maps may also be an alternative.

Don’t know when you last checked the ToS but it was recently updated. The current ToS states that:
1. License Requirements. Google’s licenses above are subject to your adherence to the following requirements:

9.1 Free, Public Accessibility to Your Maps API Implementation. Your Maps API Implementation must be generally accessible to users without charge. You may require users to log in to your Maps API Implementation if you do not require users to pay a fee. Unless you have entered into a separate written agreement with Google or obtained Google’s written permission, your Maps API Implementation must not:

(a) require a fee-based subscription or other fee-based restricted access; or
(b) operate only behind a firewall or only on an internal network (except during the development and testing phase).

Therefore, google maps could be used for this purpose
