Hi

I am using firefox 3 on ubuntu 8.10 64 bit. I am finding that when clicking menu items like Goals → overview, the first time i click the link, i get results saying 0 conversions. If i then click the same link again i get the results. This happens a lot on most of the menu items.

The first time you click, what messages do you see in the Error Console?
Please also try disabling your FF extensions to rule those out.

If we can’t narrow this one down, I’d suggest waiting for the next release when the Superfish menu is updated.

Also check to see if there’s a newer version of the non-free Flash player from Adobe.

- ok disabled all add-ons and problem still occurred, although “seemed” to be less often.
- Ran firefox with new profile, no addons installed same as above
- installed libflashplayer.so v10.0.d21.1 same as above issue still occurs but again seems less often. I basically quickly move around the navigation and sometimes i get 0 as figures, although the graph does display a number for nb_unique_visitors (see attached file piwik_trac_t548.png)

All I see in the status bar of the browser is “transferring from SITE_URL…” , SITE_URL being my sites url.

Does this problem occur on pages other than Goals? such as the Dashboard, Visitors, Actions, or Referrers?

Are Flash charts/graphs affected or just sparklines?

Another to look at is your MTU … there was some recent discussion about it elsewhere about the MTU changing when people upgraded to 8.10. Use tracepath’s MTU discovery.

Hi

the issue did occur on any page, another user tested in Firefox on windows and he had the same issue.

I have today updated to 2.29 and trying to replicate, so far I haven’t been able to.

Thanks for the update. Please re-open this ticket if the problem persists in the new version.
